Wall Art With Brown Frame
Kyrr Vase II by Icelandic designer and artist Kristín Sigurðardóttir is a combination of simple forms and playful patterns. A vase is created by two rounded shapes stacked on top of one another. Mixing digital techniques with traditional methods of painting, the composition provides a new take on still life compositions. The vases playful black and white pattern pops against a neutral backdrop of both solid and patterned surfaces.
Long Hair by Swedish artist and design Jenny Walhult explores character and depth through simple gesture and soft tones. Set against a textural backdrop, a single figure is formed through the use of negative space – long hair in dark brown and light brown clothes gesturing towards an absent women's face and body. Her subtle use of water colors creates a composition that is simple yet full of depth and texture.
